Terms & Conditions

Access to, and use of the portal constitutes acceptance of the following general terms and conditions. The Terms and Conditions below determine the rules and obligations for the use of the national land use planning portal:

  • By non-registered users: the user is required to acquaint itself with the contents of the Terms and Conditions before using the portal. The confirmation of reading the Terms and conditions constitutes the user’s understanding and acceptance.
  • By registered users: registered users are obliged to use the portal in a manner consistent with the standards and instructions as provided for by the Lands and Mapping Department and the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

General Conditions / rules for the use of data and services by the Users

  1. Access to services referred to in data catalogue is available to the public free of charge;
  2. The User has the right to use portal resources only for non-profit purposes, non-commercial use, and/or solely for personal use;
  3. The User has no right to reproduce, sell, and/or share or otherwise market or distribute portal content, in whole or in part, in particular, to transmit or make available on computer systems and networks, or any other data communication systems.

Personal data privacy

By accessing the portal, certain information about users, such as pages visited, data downloaded or viewed and time spent, or other similar information, will be stored on the portal servers. These will not specifically identify users and the information will be used internally for website traffic analysis only. If registered users provide unique identifying information, such as name, address and other information on forms stored on the portal, this information will be used for statistical purposes only and will not be published or made available for general access.

RNRA/LMD does not sell or rent its website users' names, addresses, email addresses or other personal information.

Use of IP address

The IP address is a number that is automatically given to your computer when you are surfing on the internet. Servers and 'big computers' that host web pages, automatically identify your computer through its IP number. The portal website may use IP addresses in order to carry out statistics. However, as IP addresses and personal identification are not linked to each other, users remain anonymous.

Use of cookies

Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to an individual hard drive for record-keeping purposes; passwords are not saved in cookies. Cookies help the portal to know which pages are visited most often and help RNRA/LMD to ensure that its website responds to users' needs. However, please note that if you disable all cookies you may not be able to take advantage of all the features available on this portal. The technical conditions of accessing and using data and services

For proper use of portal resources, the following is required:

  1. an Internet connection;
  2. a device allowing access to the Internet, including a program to browse its resources (web browser), which accepts cookie files and Java Script;
  3. an e-mail account (if you are a registered user).

User’s obligations

By accessing and\or downloading available content at the Portal, the user shall not misuse or interfere the service of the portal. When using the portal resources the following is prohibited:

  1. the use of viruses, bots, worms or other computer codes, scripts or programs that interrupt, destroy or limit the operation of the portal or its technical infrastructure, or otherwise allow the unauthorized use or access to the technical infrastructure of the system; and
  2. the use of computer codes, scripts or programs to automate the use of the services provided by the portal.

The web contents of the portal are intended for general information. RNRA/LMD grants permission to users to visit the site, and to download and copy information, images, documents and materials as long as the appropriate credit is given.
